Nine ordinary people from various corners of the globe were taken and converted into cyborgs endowed with incredible abilities to serve as weapons. The nine engineered beings rose up and began battling their creators in pursuit of justice and global peace. Years later, the nine cyborgs appear ageless, yet they inhabit a world where "justice" carries as many shades as there are inhabitants on Earth. Where do they fit in this society now? They confront shifting ideals, battling external threats and inner doubts.
At the outset, there was the Voice, and His Word echoed; all listened with reverence. Yet those who inhabited the earth, driven by vanity, craft, and avarice, sought to erect countless spires that pierced the sky, amassing vast fortunes. Their deeds scattered across the land, leaving ruin in their wake, and humanity ignored His Voice. In response, He offered mankind a chance to repent for its wrongs; then fire, smoke, and the lion"s roar fell upon the world, crushing the towering structures to ash. Hubris would never triumph over divine decree, reshaping the world.
