Long, long ago, a realm of sorcery and technology existed. The divine being, fearing humanity"s capacity, divided the cosmos into Elde, the domain of science, and Fandavale, the realm of enchantment. In Fandavale one day a dreadful sorceress called Cendrillon (Cinderella) was resurrected. She schemes to dominate both realms, hunting for the "key" that contains immense might.
A youthful lad from Elde named Sōta encounters a enigmatic maiden of Fandavale, Akazukin, and her chatty wolf companion, Val. Sōta discovers he is the key Cendrillon seeks. Thus Akazukin, Val, and the other Fairy Musketeers must shield Sōta from Cendrillon and her Nightmarelians who covet the power he inexplicably holds as they traverse perilous lands and confront ancient guardians to secure the balance.
