Suddenly an enigmatic alien race called the Boazan Forces has taken over Earth. A team of specialists trained for such crises has been deployed. Kenichi, Ippei, Daijirou, Hiyoshi and Megumi pilot the Choudenji Machine Voltes V (5), Earth's shield against the Boazan and their dreadful Beast Warriors. The plot thickens as the Go Brothers uncover their true lineage and the truth behind their father's disappearance. Conflicts and mixed emotions sometimes hinder the Go Brothers, yet their unwavering desire to find their father forces them to return to where it all began. With help from Earth rebels and allies on the aliens' homeworld, the Voltes Team takes on a new mission: defeat tyrant Zu Zanbajil and free the people of Boazan.
