Before the anime unfolds, three forces—the Garan Battalion, the Kiba Division, and the Aira Corps—contend for absolute control over Machine Island. The island essentially functions as a solitary penitentiary, cut off from the outside world. It houses an enormous reserve of materials, enabling each faction to produce limitless mecha for their forces.
The global administration discovers that the island"s core reactor has destabilized and will detonate in 66 hours, annihilating all life on Earth. In response, it dispatches the Death Caprice unit, featuring mercenaries Ken Kaido and Ryo Magami, along with their colossal robot Mazinkaiser. Was this the right move? Their mission faces complications as rival factions converge, threatening to turn the island into a battlefield of machines.
