Yuuta, a twelve‑year‑old boy, had lost his father in a car crash last year. During the summer break he journeyed to an abandoned dam high in the mountains, a place where he once enjoyed moments with his dad. Suddenly a thunderstorm struck and he slipped on the uneven rocks. He fainted, then awoke to discover a girl and an unfamiliar hamlet. He was transported thirty years forward into a village that had sunk beneath the dam"s waters.
