Takuma Hirose, a blind high‑school boy whose loss of sight has no clear cause, is sent to live with his uncle in a rural village hoping for recovery. While there he encounters several girls, but three—Hayami Kohinata, Hinata Kangura and Otoha—capture his attention. Otoha briefly restores his vision, enabling Takuma to assist those around him. He learns that Hayami Kohinata is despised by the villagers and vows to support her. As he does, a series of sorrowful secrets begin to surface within the community.
