In the quiet town of Sakuranomori, a group of friends faces parting with one of their own. Because his parents" business plans require it, Sana Hidaka must leave his peaceful childhood home for the busy city of Tokyo. Though he feels sorrow, he must say goodbye to his dear companions—the kind Aoi Oribe, the energetic Wakatsuki twins, Shuri and Shuusuke, and the lively Nanaka Yatsushiro. Yet he believes that distance will not erase their cherished memories.
Five years later, Sana, now a 16‑year‑old high schooler, returns to his hometown hoping to regain his old life.
