At the start of Anpanman World, everyone hurriedly prepares for the yearly Star Festival amid bustling streets. That morning, an egg cracks open inside Baikinman's trash can, and a strange boy named Kurun appears. Uncertain of his origins, Kurun spends each day playing with the townsfolk and sharing laughter. Suddenly, dark stars begin to fall from the sky like ominous rain. Anpanman suspects foul play at the Star of Life and rushes toward it, determined to uncover the mystery in the night.
