Comet Robo is a world where inventive robots thrive in a neon-lit metropolis. The resident girl robot, Roboly, excels at every task she undertakes. Yet she discovers a single "essential" item beyond her crafting skills, prompting her to depart Comet Robo in search of it. On the voyage, Roboly and her companion, the tiny robot bird Koto, collect a present box that holds a charming music box and arrive in Anpanman's realm to locate its owner.
When she encounters Anpanman and spends moments with him, Roboly feels a strange "warmth" in her chest. As she ponders these initial emotions, Roboly slowly strengthens her connection with Anpanman and his companions.
Meanwhile, Baikinman creates the ultimate mech "Roboking" and unleashes havoc on Comet Robo. Can Anpanman and his allies shield the planet from Baikinman, and can Roboly uncover the "essential" object? Their courage will be tested as the horizon darkens with looming threats today in danger.
