At the turn of the 21st century, Japan founded the United Nations Kurobe Research Center to examine an ancient relic unearthed during the building of the Kurobe Dam. Global scientists have congregated at the site to analyze the find, while their offspring lead ordinary school days at Mt. Tate International Senior High.
