Vivio Takamachi, a Sankt Kaiser noble of ancient Belka, had once endured abuse. Thankfully she now enjoys a tranquil existence with family and friends while training in martial arts under coach Nove Nakajima. Yet Vivio soon attracts the attention of enigmatic fighter Heidi E. S. Ingvalt, who demands that Nove disclose the whereabouts of the ancient Belkan royalty. When Nove refuses, she is forced into a disadvantageous confrontation but Heidi collapses unconscious. Later, Nove learns that Heidi is actually a middle‑schooler named Einhald Stratos.
After regaining consciousness, Einhald explains she bears no ill will toward the ancient Belkan royals. She has inherited a zeal to protect, haunted by memories of her ancestor, the former Belkan ruler Claus Ingvalt, and simply wishes to demonstrate that her combat skill can safeguard others. Curious about the girl"s plight, Nove arranges a meeting between Einhald and Vivio. Though their first encounter is awkward, Vivio eagerly trains with Einhald, helping her find inner peace and forging a strong friendship in the process.
