Kakēru Satsuki grew up in a shelter. When his older sister committed suicide, the 10‑year‑old boy also lost his will to live and survived only thanks to the help and support of another orphan, Yuki. Seven years passed. Yuki is happy in the foster family of Minase, while Kakēru lives alone but attends school with his childhood friend. Nevertheless, the main character remains a gloomy and solitary boy because of childhood trauma and a bandage on his right eye, and besides Yuki he freely interacts in class only with a couple of people – the local comedian Tadasi and his strict girlfriend Kaori. With them, Satsuki and Minase headed to a sale at the local supermarket. But they didn't make it. In several agonizing moments, the world turned crimson and a black moon froze in the sky. The city of Ayamegoka remained, but people vanished. Thus began the heroes' acquaintance with the world of Red Night. In this world, born from nightmares, a ball is ruled by six Black Knights who dislike uninvited guests very much. Defeating the hosts is the only way to solve riddles and get answers, and it"s worth it. And so, together with Kakēru and Yuki, several more heroes head into the unknown; they have 11 eyes on six. But that's not how it is. In the world of Red Night, everything is different! And who"s to blame and what to do – we"ll find out by watching the series.
