According to the plot, five high school seniors founded a glasses-loving club at one of the schools in the city of Sabae, Fuji Prefecture. This city is known in Japan as a center for glasses manufacturing. The guys founded their club Meganebu to express their passion for glasses and various gadgets. Each guy has his own individual style and inclinations.
