Along the picturesque banks of the Arakawa River, life buzzes as usual. Referred to today as "Recruit," Kou Ichinomiya has learned to endure the daily chaos stirred by his eccentric neighbors. Yet the scene is set to become even more chaotic when a pair of quirky newcomers join the neighborhood: a towering, fit woman who brands herself Amazoness, accompanied by her devoted Tengu allies; and Captain, a self-styled commander of Earth"s defense against Venusians. Despite the uproar, Recruit slowly uncovers deeper layers of his beloved Nino"s past and the events that molded her.
