It all starts with the fact that during a large break at school (right above the lunch box) Yuri Hitosubashi tells her friend that she has become a goddess. How, why, what the hell – who could know? And that's not even the point right now: she became one, and that"s it. I wonder what will happen next? Fortunately, Yuri is immediately joined by her classmate Matsuri Saegusa (she lives at the temple and knows gods better than anyone else). The main thing, says Matsuri, is now to find out exactly what kind of goddess Yuri is. While she works that out, they must promptly attend to the requests of believers. They also need to protect their hometown from all sorts of calamities – that"s what the local gods are supposed to do, right? In short, there"s a lot of work, and almost no time left for studying.
