The streets of Treasure Town are whispered to be owned by "The Cats." They keep tabs on every move in the city, and no troublemaker can stir unrest without first passing through them. In truth, The Cats are two orphaned lads named Black and White, fearless against any threat.
Their dominion is rattled when the Yakuza arrive and begin reshaping the town. The untamed Black and the easygoing White must depend solely on each other to restore Treasure Town to its former glory. Yet their friendship is strained as they soon discover that returning to the past may no longer be possible, forcing them to confront a future they never imagined in the shadows of the bustling market.
