Gantz

In the city of Tokyo lives a 10th‑grade student, Kei Kurono. An ordinary Japanese teenager with his head full of thoughts about girls. Life at 16 does not sparkle with rainbow colors, because every day is similar to the previous one. Until a certain time, of course… And then one day (a rock word), returning home on the subway, standing at a station, he meets his childhood friend, Kato Masaru, but does not show it. And they would part ways if it weren't for a drunk citizen without a fixed residence who appeared and fell straight onto the rails. People at the stop only muttered and, with delight, started watching when a train would arrive and carry the poor man. Only Kato rushed to rescue the clumsy one, meanwhile grabbing Kurono as an ally. With sorrow they save the wanderer in half, but themselves… They give the viewer a chance to see such a picture. An express train, speeding at a furious speed, collides with two schoolchildren, showing their blood‑stained heads to the onlookers. That's the approach! We kill the main characters already in the first episode. After a moment they find themselves in some room, intact and unharmed. Besides them, the room is inhabited by some other people, and in the center sits a large black sphere. Gantz. As it turns out, everyone in the room had just died and received a second chance. Soon words appear on the sphere, taken from an epigraph. Then the face of a creature called the sphere, an onion alien. The sphere sets its goal: to kill the alien. Then it opens, revealing its contents: weapons, suits and a person inside. And only then does Gantz begin… Ahead are hunting, killings, deaths… What is this? A game? Then what are the rules? No one knows. But you can exit it either by dying or winning. It's not at all pompous, it's a brutal truth.
