Akira Fudou lives as an ordinary high‑school student. One day, after a run‑in with school bullies, he is saved by his childhood companion Ryou Asuka. The two friends spend an afternoon together that culminates in them crashing a nightclub party. Initially uneasy in the setting, Akira is stunned when violence forces several club attendees to morph into demonic creatures. Their escape comes only through the intervention of a powerful demon named Amon. Amon takes possession of Akira, and together they become the formidable Devilman—a creature driven by Akira"s deep empathy for humanity, determined to shield people from demonic threats. The change is sudden, yet Akira senses a new strength awakening within him. Ryou observes in astonishment as the entity rises, its eyes blazing with fierce resolve today.
