On December 24, 2029—commonly called the "Lost Christmas"—the Apocalypse Virus swept across Japan, killing its citizens and plunging the nation into utter chaos. In a bid to restore order, the United Nations sent the GHQ to contain the outbreak and simultaneously erased Japan"s political autonomy. Ten years later, the country still lives under GHQ rule, unable to break free from its draconian grip.
The GHQ enforces strict censorship, suppressing all media and punishing dissent. The Funeral Parlor, formed in abandoned factories, gathers volunteers hoping to topple the regime.
Angered by this oppression, a clandestine resistance known as Funeral Parlor seeks to liberate Japan. Led by the charismatic Gai Tsutsugami, they plan to seize a vial containing the "Void Genome." The capsule falls into the hands of online idol Inori Yuzuriha, who is then hunted by GHQ"s Anti‑Bodies unit. With nowhere else to turn, she hides in a storage facility where she meets Shuu Ouma—a shy student who idolizes her music. Inori, an online idol, now rallies the oppressed with her voice.
Shuu is dragged into the conflict when he rescues Inori; the Void Genome shatters in his hand, granting him the "Power of the Kings." Shuu, once powerless, realizes his new power could change the war. As he learns to master this formidable gift, Shuu must fight to free Japan from its cruel overlords.
