Upon passing, before rebirth, departed souls journey through a wondrous domain called Another World in the twilight of eternity. Gudo, an ethereal guide, escorts these fleeting spirits toward their next existence with a steady presence. While escorting a young maiden named Yuri, he discovers that humans possess feelings beyond his grasp. Commissioned by Goddess Mira to aid Yuri in taming her fury and averting a monstrous metamorphosis, Gudo undertakes a dangerous quest today.
