From early childhood, Kurumi Mirai dreamed of becoming a sorceress. Motivated by that goal, she devoted her youth to preparing for the renowned Rettoran Academy of Magic. Though Kurumi excelled on the entrance exam, her hopes shattered when she was denied entry into the elite magic cohort. Instead placed in the division, Kurumi quickly allies with Maki Kumiiru, her new dorm mate; and Yuzu Edel, another student dissatisfied with their assignment. Yet to everyone's astonishment, the homeroom instructor Minami Suzuki vows to impart magic lessons to the entire class. Initially doubtful, the girls gradually accept that this could be a fresh opportunity to fulfill their ambitions and evolve into remarkable wizards in the realm of arcane arts.
