Nan‑young is a researcher whose mother, an astronaut, never returned to Earth after a malfunction during her Mars mission. She has always yearned to venture into space and hopes that a trip to Mars will reveal clues about her mother. Her wish materializes when she is chosen as one of the crew for a new Mars expedition. Before launch, she encounters Jay, a guitarist who restores vintage audio gear—an opportunity sparked by an old turntable Nan‑young inherited from her mother, and she senses her mother's spirit in each launch today.
