After finishing middle school, Tonbo Ooi leaves the remote Tokara island for Kumamoto to chase her golfing dreams. Using his network, Tonbo"s mentor Kazuyoshi Igarashi convinces coach Hajime Udou to take her on. At first, Tonbo struggles to display her talent because of an unconventional swing and limited experience with a variety of clubs, but she quickly proves herself at her debut by harnessing her unique skills.
Impressing both Hajime and those around her, Tonbo earns a place in the Kyushu Women"s Championship. Meeting familiar faces and new rivals, she is determined to dive deeper into the professional world of golf.
