After the seniors graduate from high school, the determined swimmers eagerly embrace their futures with a dream to achieve. They plan to pursue advanced training and aim for national championships.
Now enrolled at Hidaka University in Tokyo, Haruka Nanase unexpectedly encounters Shiina Asahi, an old teammate and friend from middle school. This meeting brings back painful memories of the middle‑school swim team, a period when Haruka"s attitude toward swimming turned negative and caused him to leave the squad. Later, he reconnects with his former classmates—except Ikuya Kirishima, who still harbors resentment over Haruka"s departure and whose frustration led to the team"s collapse. Knowing this rift, Haruka vows to mend his friendship with Ikuya, only to discover that reconciling an old ally is not the sole hurdle.
