Kazuki Yoshino and Yuuya Niyodo form the idol pair ZINGS. Kazuki pours everything into each show, whereas Yuuya treats the role merely as a paycheck. His indifference toward fans and lack of seriousness prompt his manager to issue an ultimatum: if he doesn"t step up, he will be dismissed. The manager"s warning rattles Yuuya, who has always shrugged off criticism.
Behind the scenes, Yuuya encounters Asahi Mogami, an idol in a vibrant costume. Asahi would have enjoyed a promising future—if she hadn"t died the previous year. Even as a spirit, her sole desire is to return to stage for audiences. Discovering that Yuuya lacks the same fervor she once had, she erupts in fury and insists he hand over his spot. Unexpectedly, Yuuya awakens to find Asahi has taken control of him, performing the tasks he would otherwise neglect. Asahi, though translucent, carries the same charisma she had in life.
With Asahi"s presence, Yuuya believes he has secured an effortless idol career. Yet she harbors different intentions. Though dead, Asahi urges Yuuya to rediscover the drive she still feels. Together they aim to become the most outstanding idols ever seen. Yuuya"s initial excitement turns to doubt when he realizes the effort required. But can a man as unenthusiastic as Yuuya truly care for anything beyond money?
