When ordinary office employee Kiyoshi Adachi reaches his thirtieth birthday, he finds that a lifelong virginity has granted him the strange gift of telepathy. The catch is that he must physically touch someone to access their thoughts. Adachi initially dismisses the power as useless until, by chance, he intercepts the mind of his colleague Yuuichi Kurosawa.
Kurosawa is the charismatic, reliable leader of their team, earning admiration and accolades from everyone at work. Yet beneath his confident exterior he secretly harbors a deep, unreciprocated affection for the reserved Adachi—a fact that only Adachi discovers through his newfound ability, and which he attempts to ignore out of respect. As Kurosawa showers Adachi with an unprecedented level of kindness and affection, the employee finds it increasingly hard to dismiss the genuine advances from his coworker.
