Half a century ago, terrifying monsters dubbed the "menace to humanity" suddenly appeared across the globe. In response, teenagers possessing extraordinary gifts called "Talents"—such as pyrokinesis and temporal manipulation—refine their abilities at a remote island academy. The curriculum emphasizes elemental mastery, strategic combat, and teamwork among the gifted.
Nanao Nakajima differs sharply from the other residents: he has no Talent. Surrounded by many gifted peers, Nanao is frequently targeted for bullying, yet his determination remains unshaken as he continues to pursue training with unwavering resolve. Soon after, two new students arrive—mysterious Kyouya Onodera and telepathic Nana Hiiragi. As the class begins to coalesce into a unified team, unexplained disappearances start undermining their collective foundation. These vanishings raise questions about hidden threats lurking within the island.
