Angel of Death

With hollow, unseeing eyes, Rachel Gardner longs only for death. She awakens in a building's basement, about how she arrived there. In the gloom she encounters a bandaged killer named Zack, who is desperate to flee. Promising to finish her once he escapes, Rachel and Zack begin climbing the structure floor after floor in hopes of freedom. The air smells of rust, stale fear. Yet each level brings more warped souls, all of whom seem to recognize Rachel. Her memories flicker like dying embers, hinting at a pact. What ties her to this place, and why was she brought here? Confronting a new tyrant on every floor, can Rachel and Zack both realize their desires?
