Creatures descend from Hell to the human realm seeking souls. As minds grow tainted, drawn by these corrupted spirits, the beings violate the prohibition to enter humanity. Tsutomu, a pupil at Yokai Elementary, is abruptly attacked by these monsters. The rescuers are Enma‑Kun, the heir of Enma; Yukiko, a snow spirit; and Kapaeru. They belong to the Monster Patrol dispatched to the human world to detain such threats. Their mission is to protect ordinary citizens from the looming darkness that threatens to consume everyday life and restore peace.
