Kota Hasegawa is a senior high school student who adores the Sanrio character Pom Pom Purin, but feels embarrassed about it. By chance he ends up in the same school as Yu Midzuno, a guy who likes another Sanrio character, the rabbit Mai Melody. When they meet, Yu convinces Kota that he shouldn't be ashamed of his love for cute characters: and now Kota, Yu, and three other boys from their school must overcome their embarrassment about their hobby.
