Everyone dreams of reaching a goal, and Kanon Shibuya—musical prodigy—shares that ambition. Yet stage fright keeps her from entering Yuigaoka Girls' High School"s music program, landing her in the general track instead. Though Kanon resolves to abandon music entirely, her classmate Tang Keke reignites her love for the art with her own enthusiasm: a devotion to school idols.
Keke and Kanon attempt to form a school idol group, but face strong resistance from Ren Hazuki, the director"s daughter. Nevertheless, they approach the principal, who permits them to start a school idol club on one condition: they must secure first place at the Yoyogi School Idol Festival.
The budding idols" perseverance is tested as they confront obstacles along the way. Throughout their adventure, they forge new friendships and recruit additional members, ultimately becoming the dazzling performers others only dream of.
