In the performing‑arts wing of Seishou Music Academy, the stage constantly weaves the students" stories as they relentlessly refine their skills. While the girls gear up for a fresh take on last year"s show, the light‑hearted Karen Aijou starts accepting a minor part. Yet her fading enthusiasm is rekindled when her childhood companion Hikari Kagura reappears, transferring unexpectedly to the school and sparking a wave of shifts in the class"s atmosphere.
Soon after, Karen stumbles upon an underground arena beneath the campus—a place where a series of auditions decide who will earn the title "Top Star." Immersed in these mysterious contests, she discovers the hardships that accompany the quest for supremacy.
