On her fourteenth birthday, Mayumi Doujima swears to her parents that she will abandon her dream of becoming an astronaut if she cannot rediscover a star she once saw in the night sky. When her frustration reaches a peak, the eccentric Manabu Soutouin overhears and offers to help her search, inviting the members of Yubiwa Academy"s mysterious Pretty Boy Detective Club to join. Their guiding motto is simple: "Be pretty, be a boy, and be a detective."
