All contracts with the Abyss are controlled by a mysterious organization called Pandora; those who act outside its authority risk both soul and body. For example, one can fall into the Abyss for a moment and emerge after a few hundred years… The story begins with Oz Bezarius's coming‑of‑age celebration, the son of a duke and heir to one of the four Great Houses. Oz is not an idiot, he is decisive, accustomed to hiding his true nature behind the mask of a spoiled brat. And on the night when the young lord turns fifteen, he is arrested and thrown into the Abyss without trial or explanation, simply "for who you are." Pandora"s agents miscalculated – the guy got out of there, oh how he got out… not just one. And it doesn"t matter that ten years passed in the real world – our hero has many questions, and there"s nowhere for him to rush. After all, the anime is based on "Alice in Wonderland," where only the White Rabbit was in a hurry – Oz got the Black one!
