Description

The story is about exorcism, exorcists and the akuma, who come and devour the souls of deceased people if their relatives cry for them to return. It strongly resembles "Alishino" and the failed transmutation experiments (a greeting from the Elrikov brothers). There is also a certain Millennial Count and his sponsored family named Noe, who are the main villains. They have a tooth on the protagonist, who has an extremely mysterious past, missing parents and a strange "hand." The "akuma" are demons (collectively studied in Japanese folklore), but translators stubbornly refer to them as akuma, which is odd. Everyone seeks "innocence," and each exorcist possesses it in some form (a sword, parasites, a hammer). "Innocence" is the main power; the more of it one has, the better. It provides weapons, exorcist abilities and heals akuma by sending them to the spirit world or, conversely, destroying them. Innocence is not about virginity; it is something else—pure, bright, kawaii. If the "evil uncles" have more innocence than ours, the world will be in trouble.
