High‑schooler Asou Daisuke, a talented painter, is now blocked and cannot create. He has struggled for months, each brushstroke halted by an invisible wall. His lifelong friend Tachibana Amane, who adores him deeply, convinces him to sketch Kimikage Yurina, a girl suffering from a heart ailment, before she undergoes surgery. The portrait offers hope to Yurina and sparks Daisuke's revival. While rekindling his craft, Daisuke discovers the affection shared between him and Amane.
