Toyotomi Hideyoshi is close to unifying the Japanese archipelago, and only Odawara Castle remains as the final stronghold, guarded by Ujiyasu Houjou, known as the "Lion of Sagami." Hideyoshi"s personally trained commanders—Ishida Mitsunari, Katō Kiyomasa, and Fukushima Masanori—as well as Ootani Yoshitsugu, Shima Sakon, and Naoe Kanetsugu all stand at the front amid the chaos. Within this line are two young Sanada fighters: elder brother Nobuyuki, a seasoned warrior, and younger Yukimura. When the deadlock cracks, Sanada Yukimura mounts a lone horse into the clash; his brother follows immediately.
