During his childhood, Xu‑Xian is compelled to release a tiny serpent that he keeps as a companion. Little does he know the creature is in fact Bai‑Niang, a fledgling snake deity who harbors affection for him. Decades later, when both have grown into adulthood, the deity is enchanted into a mortal woman and embarks on a quest to locate her beloved. However, the village sorcerer mistakes her for a nocturnal predator and forces Xu‑Xian out of town to protect him. Determined, the panda pair Panda and Mimi launch a rescue mission, ultimately emerging as chiefs of an animal collective today in the wild.
