The "iron disease" epidemic has claimed the lives of nearly a thousand people in several cities across Japan. Only one person can stop it: the most powerful sorceress, Hakaze Kusaribe. However, she was imprisoned on an uninhabited island, lacking any means to contact the outside world and unable to use magic. Yet she found a man named Mahiro Fuwa, who will help her halt the epidemic and free her from prison. Now Mahiro and his childhood friend Eshiro Tokigawa must save the world.
