In August of 1995, Mikiya Kokutou encounters a young woman dressed in a kimono named Shiki Ryougi. When he learns that they attend the same school, he seeks to become friends with her. Despite Shiki"s unconventional upbringing and peculiar nature, Mikiya remains undeterred; gradually she opens up to him. Yet this simple encounter forever alters his life in ways he never anticipated, as he discovers a deadly facet of his newfound companion, where hidden truths echo beneath the autumn wind silently.
