Each dawn, first‑year student Taiki Inomata rushes to the school gym to sharpen his badminton technique. Yet his real incentive lies in sharing the otherwise deserted court with second‑year Chinatsu Kano, the girl he adores and the leading athlete of the girls" basketball squad. Though Chinatsu appears distant, Taiki slowly discovers chances to learn more about her.
The early light filters through the gym"s windows, casting long shadows that echo his relentless drive today. Unaware of it, Taiki"s relentless diligence and respect inspire Chinatsu to push herself harder and chase her loftiest goals. When her parents must abruptly relocate abroad for work, Chinatsu chooses to stay in Japan and aim for national glory. With no accommodation of her own, she is welcomed by Taiki"s mother, who has long been friends with Chinatsu"s family. Overwhelmed by the new reality of cohabiting with the woman he loves, Taiki decides to pursue a national title in his sport alongside Chinatsu—and deepen their bond.
