Following the death of his grandmother Sachiko, Hayato Kasukabe flies back from Tokyo and inherits her establishment—Familia Café Terrace. He intends to tear down the building and replace it with a parking lot, only to learn that his grandmother had welcomed five young women into her home before she passed.
The girls—Ouka Makuzawa, Akane Hououji, Riho Tsukishima, Shiragiku Ono, and Ami Tsuruga—were clearly close to Sachiko, and they naturally resist abandoning the place that has been their sanctuary. They persuade Hayato to reconsider, though with hesitation. In doing so, he recalls his own history with his grandmother and rekindles his affection for the café.
Resolved to honor her memory, Hayato asks the girls to serve as "goddesses" who will guard this treasured venue.
