Since the witch Yurine Hanazono dragged her from Hell, Jashin-chan—a hybrid of human and serpent—has been hunting for any route back to her realm. One possibility is to slay the summoner, though that task proves far harder than it sounds. Frequently she ends up battered by Yurine after each botched assassination attempt and even whenever her pranks go awry, crushing any chance of returning to the underworld.
The creature also mishandles finances and habitually squanders every coin on pachinko. During one bout, she forfeits the three million yen lent by Hell Financing, plunging her into perpetual debt. To dodge repayment entirely, Jashin-chan escapes to Hokkaido in hopes of vanishing forever, yet the hope that her liabilities will vanish may be nothing more than wishful thinking when creditors arrive. Meanwhile, rumors of her presence spread through local townsfolk, drawing curious onlookers and wary villagers alike. Her desperate attempts to silence the debt collectors only amplify her notoriety.
