Kenji, Asakura and Oota form a disinterested trio of classmates, infamous for assaulting other troublemakers without provocation. Exhausted by the dull brawls that once supplied them with fleeting excitement, Kenji seeks a new outlet and impulsively forms a band. He recruits his companions: he takes the bass, Oota strums the guitar and Asakura handles the drums. Though none have previously played an instrument, their inaugural rehearsal surpasses all expectations. Their collective enthusiasm grows as they practice, turning the rehearsal room into a sanctuary of sound for every night.
