The VENUS Program is a completely unbiased rating system for idols, employing AI and data analytics to evaluate candidates across numerous criteria. Kouhei Makino, who once served as Mana"s manager, has continued his work at Hoshimi Productions long after her passing. Determined to assemble a fresh idol group, he opened auditions for many hopefuls. Unexpectedly one applicant was Kotono Nagase, Mana"s younger sister, who aims to honor her sibling"s legacy under the guidance of his former mentor. Another contestant was Sakura Kawasaki, whose vocal timbre eerily mirrors that of Mana.
Both Kotono and Sakura cleared the tests, joining eight other aspiring performers. Residing together in a shared dorm, the ten members collaborate to discover what it takes to function as a cohesive unit. Driven by an ambitious goal, they battle their way up the ranks while navigating the harsh realities of idol life. Their training includes rigorous vocal lessons, intensive dance routines, and media etiquette workshops. The group also participates in community outreach events to build a fan base.
