In a distant legendary realm, spirit‑like guardians maintain the balance of the mortal world. One such guardian, a young maiden named Chun, has just reached maturity and must fulfill her initiation by venturing into the human realm. There she is caught in a fishing net amid a tempest and saved by a mortal boy.
Yet the boy tragically perishes in the struggle, leaving Chun burdened with remorse as she returns to her domain. She later encounters the Soul Keeper and offers a portion of her own life to resurrect the boy, unaware that tampering with nature will bring grave repercussions.
Da Yu Hai Tang chronicles sacrifice and redemption as Chun confronts the limits of her abilities while navigating death, love, and her inner turmoil. She must choose whether to give everything for the boy or uphold her duty to preserve cosmic order.
