Creamy Mami follows a young girl named Yuu who, after spotting an alien vessel, receives the ability to wield magic for a year. She also obtains two cats, Poji and Nega, who protect and counsel her. By channeling her powers to become the idol Creamy Mami, Yuu must diligently pursue acting and singing, assist her parents at their crepe shop, battle extraterrestrials and foes, attend school, and strive to win the heart of her childhood friend Toshio in the process and throughout.
