From the outside she seems like an ordinary high‑school student, but Kusakabe Maron secretly embodies a reborn Jeanne d'Arc. Assisted by the angel Fin Fish, she becomes the nocturnal thief Jeanne, sealing spirits that dwell within artworks and feed on the fragile emotions of their owners. The pieces vanish after she purges them, earning her a reputation as a thief. Suddenly a new neighbor and classmate joins the scene, and a rival thief named Sinbad enters her nightly missions. With her best friend being the detective"s daughter, who is determined to apprehend both Maron and Sinbad, her tasks grow increasingly complex. Her nightly endeavors now intertwine with a looming threat that could destabilize the entire city"s fragile balance.
