Following a midnight talk with her dear brother, high‑school student Arisa Minase awakens the following morning in an unfamiliar realm. She is welcomed as "Alice" by a pair of siblings called Light and Shadow, who cheer at the arrival of Alice. Arisa insists she is not the Alice they refer to, yet the odd denizens insist otherwise.
When she encounters the gentle and enigmatic Black Rabbit, she discovers that she is confined in a place called Wonderland with no obvious exit. As she acclimates to this strange existence, Arisa encounters an array of unusual beings, including the fond Cheshire Cat and the indolent dormouse named Round.
Yet Wonderland harbors deeper mysteries. Every eccentric companion she now lives with echoes someone from her former life, though none recall their true names or bonds. Even more perplexing is the fact that time in Wonderland appears frozen, with each day mirroring the last. The cycle seems endless—except for whatever secrets the Black Rabbit conceals.
