In the rural depths of Japan, far from civilization, lies the unique Seigaku Academy where senior high‑school students, in addition to ordinary subjects, deeply study astronomy and astrology. This field has always been considered male, so Seigaku was conceived and remained a privileged school for boys—until recently. Today the academy has its first female student, 17‑year‑old Tsukiko Yashisa, who loves the starry sky as passionately as any of her classmates.
